Dear “Friends of Dr. Ouida Keck”,
This summer, the Executive Board of ASMTA voted to nominate Ouida as a MTNA “Fellow” for 2016. We would like your help in designating Ouida Keck as a Music Teachers National Association Foundation Fellow. This national program is designed to honor those outstanding individuals who have made a significant contribution to music and the music teaching profession, while supporting the programs of the MTNA Foundation.
Ouida Keck has been a great asset of the Arkansas State Music Teachers Association. She has helped student musicians to realize their potential and has served her community, state and nation in many different capacities. Each of you would have examples of what her time and talents have meant to you.
Each “Fellow” is recognized in the MTNA magazine, American Music Teacher, and each name is placed on a plaque at the national headquarters in Cincinnati, Ohio. In addition, each “Fellow” receives a free ticket to the MTNA Foundation Gala during the MTNA National Conference, where they are recognized with a framed certificate and a “Fellow” pin. When you make a contribution to the MTNA Foundation Fund, you are helping us work for a more musical tomorrow through programs that nurture the creation, performance, study and teaching of music. The MTNA Foundation Fund provides support for the MTNA Student Performance Competitions, MTNA Composer Commissioning Program, and numerous awards recognizing music teachers of excellence.
To honor Ouida, please send your contribution to the MTNA Foundation. Be sure to indicate on your check “Ouida Keck Fellow 2016.” You may also make your contribution on-line at http://www.mtnafoundation.org/contribute/. Look for a field labeled “fellow”. Type her full name there. All contributions are deductible to the extent allowed by law, and all donations of any size are welcome. All contributions need to be in the MTNA office by January 15, 2016. Ouida will be notified of your contribution.
